Kat Clift
Kat is an expert hairdresser with extensive education and experience spanning over 25 years in all aspects of hairdressing. Specialising in colour, cutting and styling, she aspires to continually update her skills and knowledge to stay on-trend and ahead of the curve in the industry.
In her journey as a salon owner, she naturally steered towards education and training, recognising the importance of ongoing training in the ever evolving world of hairdressing.
Kat is excited to step into the role of Director of Education and is looking forward to assist the next generation of hairdressers in their skill development.
Toni-Jade Farrell
Toni started her hairdressing career in 2013 getting qualified in 2017 in a prestigious salon in the heart of Adelaide CBD. She then branched off on her own specializing in wedding hair in 2022. Toni jumped all in with both feet and hit the ground running when she opened Blushing Bridal Hair.
Successfully completing over 150 wedding parties in that short time with a 5-star customer satisfaction rating, Toni has been nominated in the Beyond The Ponytail styling awards in 2023 & 2024 and placed top three in the prestigious ABIA awards and Wedding industry awards in 2022 & 2023. Toni was then announced the winner of the 2024 Wedding Industry Awards coming 1st place in the hairstyling category.
Chelsea Lobban
Chelsea is an award-winning stylist and owner of Newfang, a boutique salon (est. 2022) in the western suburbs of Adelaide.
With a 17-year career spanning top salons in London (Pimps and Pin-ups) and Adelaide (Pipsqueek in Saigon), Chelsea has developed a specialisation in texture and razor cutting. A standout moment in her career has been working in the UK’s theatre and festival scenes.
Anthony Taverna
Anthony Taverna is the proud owner of Plek Barbershop on Currie Street and is known for his exceptional customer service experiences. Specialising in a modern take on classic cuts, traditional beard trims and hot towel shaves, Plek has been a pioneer of barbering since it hit Adelaide in 2016.
Anthony has put his skills to practice across the globe, training in Amsterdam in 2014, and completing his qualifications is Barbering and Shaving in trendy Shoreditch in London.
Back here in Australia, Anthony identified a gap in the market, and quickly filled that hole by launching Plek Barbershop. His passion for the industry and education knows no bounds.
Emma Marie
With 14 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Emma has seamlessly evolved from ladies’ hairdressing into men’s grooming and barbering. This transition has been a natural progression, driven by her desire for continual growth and new challenges in her craft. Emma enjoys the atmosphere in the barber studio, making men feel and look their best!
Over the years Emma has been educating in salons, holding her own workshops and cutting at hair festivals. Emma's most recent collaboration was working with WAHL pro as an ambassador.
Kristina Russell
Kristina Russell is a dynamic hair colourist and educator with over two decades of experience at the pinacle of hairdressing education. Renowned as a Reds expert, she authored 'The Hair-Painting for Redheads' and transitioned to an independent educator role, developing the unique '5,6,7,8 colour system' for redheads.
Kristina’s accolades include Australian Hair Expo Colour Technician of the Year and multiple finalist positions for the Australian Hair Industry Awards. Recently featured on
the morning show Sunrise TV, she continues to innovate in-salon education, championing
inclusivity for LGBTQI+ clients and gender-free services.
Nina Santucci
Industry leading colour technician Nina comes to you with an enormous wealth of knowledge about all things colour.
Hailing from Access Hair in Sydney, Nina can share the skills she's developed over 20 years to give you an inside look into colour techniques for happy clients.
David Corry
David has been in the business of hair for more than 25 years including time in London teaching at a hairdressing college and being a salon owner for over 10 years. David specialises in textured hair from wavy to curly to coily and has created a unique and diverse curl community from within his own salon in Brisbane.
David’s passion for all things curly has resulted in the creation of a beautiful space open to all clients and David will share his skills, knowledge and inspiration to empower you to take charge of your own curl journey.
Renya Sanders
With over 23 years of experience in the beauty industry, Renya prides herself on delivering the highest quality and up-to-date training to elevate the industry's standards and reputation.
Throughout her career, Renya has owned her own salon, wholesale, and eyelash company, facilitated education, and worked in many salons.
Jeanette Taverna
Jeannette Taverna is Artav Australia’s Beauty Research Development Manager and a qualified beauty therapist, with let’s just say ‘many’ years of professional and training experience.
An accomplished educator, Jeannette has covered all aspects of beauty services including product benefits and application techniques. Jeannette has successfully trained countless salon owners and their staff in the use of the Caflon Ear Piercing System.
