Basic makeup kit (including foundation, concealer, powders, bronzer, blush, highlighter, eye products, and lip products), tools, makeup wipes and/or cleanser, moisturiser and skin prep products. This is optional, if you don't yet have a full kit please email us prior to attending.

Tess Carbone

Tess is an experienced makeup artist with over 17 years in the industry, holding an Advanced Diploma in Event, Theatrical, and Special Effects makeup. Her career began in creative, theatrical, and SFX work across television and film, while simultaneously building a successful freelance business specialising in Bridal and Event makeup.

Tess has worked for leading cosmetics brands, including Inglot Cosmetics and Chanel, gaining valuable experience across both artistry and retail environments. Her passion for the craft deepened during her time as a qualified Trainer and Assessor at an Adelaide makeup academy, where she mentored aspiring artists and built lasting professional relationships, many of whom she now works alongside in the industry. This also led to opportunities as a judge for the bridal/creative makeup categories at the SA Hair and Beauty (SAHBA) Awards for multiple years.

She is deeply committed to ongoing education, regularly upskilling, creating fun content, and staying ahead of industry trends to continually refine her craft.

Today, Tess balances life with her young family while continuing her freelance work, focusing on creating beautiful, personalised looks for clients.
